I’ve seen plastic flowers that mimic this flower.
Now I’ve seen the real thing I see why.
It’s beautiful!
Does anyone know what the name of this flower is?

Next time I go to the garden store I’ll be in the lookout for this flower.
Very nice photo by the way. You should try using a macro lens for flower photography. You won’t regret it. They also make great portrait lenses.

Hi Michael – I am finally getting around to visiting your blog after you gave me such a nice comment on one of my photos at my blog http://points-of-view.com. FYI, I have had a lot of luck photographing flowers using a telephoto lens.

I find a telephoto lens lets me get the shot better than a fixed macro lens.
Especially I you are in a garden and can’t get that close to what you want!
Thanks for stopping by. I look forward to your work!
